Marketplace returns (Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop, Meta)
Returns and refunds for Lucyd orders bought on a marketplace — how they work, what we cover, and what the marketplace handles.
If you bought your Lucyd glasses on Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop, Meta (Facebook / Instagram Shop), eBay, or any other marketplace, this is the policy that applies.

Why we can’t refund marketplace orders directly
When you buy on Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop, or another marketplace, the marketplace holds your payment — not Lucyd. We never receive your money directly. Because of that, we can’t issue you a refund from our side. The marketplace processes refunds through their own returns flow within their own window.
This isn’t a Lucyd policy choice — it’s how marketplace payment systems work.
What to do if you want a refund
Use the marketplace’s own returns flow within their window:
Amazon
- Go to Your Orders on Amazon.
- Find the order and click Return or replace items.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to print a return label.
- Amazon will process the refund automatically once they receive the item.
Walmart
- Sign in to Walmart.com → Your Account → Purchase History.
- Find the order and select Start a Return.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to print a return label.
- Walmart will process the refund once they receive the item.
TikTok Shop
- Open the TikTok app → You → Orders → After-sales / Returns.
- Select the order and initiate the return.
- TikTok will process the refund through their flow.
Meta (Facebook / Instagram Shop)
Most Meta-referenced purchases redirect to lucyd.co at checkout — if that’s the case, your order number starts with #1 and our DTC return policy applies. If you genuinely bought in-platform through Meta Commerce, contact us with your order details.
What we do cover
Even though we don’t refund, Lucyd’s 1-year manufacturing-defect warranty applies to every unit you buy from us, including marketplace orders.
If your unit has a manufacturing defect:
- Contact our team with your marketplace order number, a short video of the issue, your shipping address, and a phone number.
- We’ll review and, if eligible, ship a replacement directly to you from our Miami warehouse — at no charge.
- This works whether you’re inside or outside the marketplace’s return window.

What’s NOT covered
- User damage — drops, water damage, sat-on frames, kid breakage. We can offer a 50% replacement discount or Lucyd Pro Insurance if you’re within 30 days of purchase.
- Refunds in cash from Lucyd — see above. Refunds are the marketplace’s job.
- Replacements past the 1-year warranty window unless you have Lucyd Pro Insurance (extends to 24 months).
Hybrid case: Amazon frame + Lucyd Rx
If your frame was bought on Amazon but Lucyd cut the prescription lenses for you, the Rx issue is handled by Lucyd directly, not by Amazon. Contact us with both order references and we’ll route it correctly.
